Tempered glass：
Our Tempered glass is made by heating the flat glass until the temperature reaches its softening limit, and then cooling the glass surface fast, so that the glass surface will harden and shrink immediately. At this time, the interior of glass will still be soft and flowing on a short time. After the cooling and shrinking process finish, there will be compression stress on the surface, and extensional stress in the interior. The two stresses are strong and equipollent, thus reinforcing the intension of the glass, which is about 3~5 times of the common glass.

1 Excellent fire resistance
Super tough monolithic low-e coated FRG is able to withstand the flame contact with the temperature of 1000 for about 120 minutes without breaking, which allows the occupants to have enough time for evacuation from buildings as well as for rescue work. The product has passed a series of tests, carried out by National Fire Resistant Building Materials Test Laboratory, proven to meet the requirement of Cate gory C, Level I specified in GB15763.1-2002 Architectural Safety Glazing Materials-Fire resistant glass.

2. High strength and safety features
High strength
In addition to its excellent fire resistance performance, the strength of Super tough monolithic low-e coated FRG is the same as that of Cs-K FRG, which ia about 1.5~3 times stronger than ordinary tempered glass. Therefore, the design values of allowable strength taken for low-e coated FRG can be the same as that of Cs-K FRG.
Safety
Once a low-e coated FRG breaks ,it breaks into much finer particles, compared to ordinary tempered glass, which dramatically reduces the risk of injury to human accidental impact or contact with glass.

3 Good workability
Low-e coated FRG can be used monolithically (limited to some specific products) or processed into laminated, insulated combinations for point-glazing structures. When composed into an IG unit, it provides a better performance in thermal isolation and energy conservation.

4 Environmental protection effect
Low-e coated FRG allows a large portion of visible light spectrum transmission, utillzing the natural light for indoor lighting, with a very low outside reflection benefiting a reduction of outdoor glare.
